TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Troy Mayor Patrick Madden issued a call to action after steps were taken to close the city’s only birthing center. He wants the public to participate in a survey that will be reviewed by the New York State Department of Health, the agency that will make the final decision on the closure.“It’s very important to participate and to demonstrate to the state that we are taking this opportunity for input very seriously so we’d love to see a good response rate from a broad base of individuals throughout the community,” said Madden. ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. - One St. Louis suburb in west county was recently named among the top markets for US homebuyers. Realtor.com recently released its "Hottest ZIP Codes" report, which ranks cities and big suburbs based on convenience, affordability and value. Coming in at No. 10 on the list was Ballwin, Missouri. A section of Interstate 70 in the foothills, along with a stretch of U.S. 40 in the same area, is closed in both directions for safety concerns, with loose rock above the highway considered a threat to dislodge.The highway is closed, including Floyd Hill, from U.S. 6 to Jefferson County Road 65, according to the Colorado State Patrol. Witness accounts and video indicated that sparks from power lines ignited fires as utility poles snapped in the winds, which were driven by a passing hurricane. The Aug. 8 fire killed at least 115 people and left an unknown number of others missing. Drivers Critically Injured after Deadly Three-Vehicle Accident near Bethany Home RoadMARICOPA COUNTY, AZ (August 24, 2023) – Saturday morning, two drivers sustained following a collision near Loop 303.The incident occurred at around 6:30 a.m., August 19th, involving at least three vehicles occupied by one driver each.According to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, one vehicle was overturned, and one obtained heavy front-end damage.Furthermore, two of the drivers were trapped in their respective vehicles, and they were extricated by the Rural Metro Fire crews.Immediately after that, the two drivers were transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
